Once on our way to the great wall once informative guide seemed now to be very quiet and gave us the bare details about the wall. He was disappointed we went to the site without the cable car which is an extra 100 RMB which I assume he gets commission on. 2 hours of amazing sites and history on the wall itself. Awesome. Bring water as you will need it as well as sensible shoes.
