The tour could not have been better organised, it was excellent. Starting off with a visit to a jade factory, which was really interesting. Then on to the Ming tombs, and as a bonus you were driven through some really attractive countryside, it was a real pleasure to be out of Beijing for one day into the peace and calm of the countryside. After the tombs on to the highlight of the trip, Mutianyu for the Great Wall. First some lunch in a nice buffet style restaurant, and then on to the chair lift. After the wall, first stop was a tea ceremony which was a real treat, and then back to Beijing to visit a silk factory, again well worth the visit. Everything was very well organised, and the guide was simply excellent with a very good level of spoken English.
