The tour guide was on time to pick us up at the hotel. The first stop at the Ming tombs is just a quick stop over and not a tour of the main areas. It felt like we spent more time at the shop than here. We then had "lunch" at 10am. After this we went to the great wall which the majority of the bus wanted to climb but we were told we must take the cable car (seemed like an option on the website but it was not really once we arrived there - this cost 140 Yuan per person) waited in line for 1 hour and 20 mins. They dropped us off where ever we wanted on the way home which was good cause we went shopping afterwards. Overall the guide was good but the cable car saga made us feel disappointed with the tour.
