Appalling experience. We booked a full day at the Great Wall but we were put on a split tour visit in error. China Tour rebooked the trip for the following day but due to an administrative error the tour operator failed to turn up. It was our last day in Beijing and we had to book a private taxi to take us to the Great Wall. A totally incompetent service which caused us a lot of stress. We did receive a full refund and apology but no compensation for the additional expense of making alternative arrangements at no notice.
