It was a nice trip.Guide was good.Only think I dislike is I was told to spend half an hr inside jwellary shop.Rest of things were fine...
Forbidden city was good, but in the Great Wall the guía left us there but he didn’t explain anything..
We were very rush at the afternoon trip as we had to stopped at both Jade and tea shop for so long..
We covered a lot in one day. The Wall visit stands out. It was an uncrowded section of the wall and also features a chair lift and toboggan slide as options. Good visit to Forbidden City. Wish we'd been allowed time to explore Tianamen Square but we only passed by it. Pleasant group of 8 travelers...
Overall we did enjoy our tour, but our group of 8 adults specifically selected this private tour because it did NOT include the jade factory tour or tea house as several other packages did. And, our tour was to start at the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, then finish at Forbidden City; but, upon pick up from our hotel, our tour guide told us we'd start at T.Square, Forbidden City, jade factory, then finish at Great Wall. Thankfully, the day was windy and not hot, otherwise, we'd really be upset to tour the Great Wall during the afternoon heat. And, like I said, we selected this package because it did not include the jade factory visit, but our tour guide somehow added it in. In addition, our group finished early at the Great Wall because we were just tired & beat from the day, and our tour guide decided to add in the tea house which we refused several times before she finally agreed and said she'd check with her company to let them know we were skipping the tea house; however, I did have our tour itinerary printed with me and I was about to show it to her that tea house was not on the agenda (nor the jade factory)! Thank goodness we read all about the tea house scams and jade factory in advance of our Beijing trip. We will not use this company again, since they also charged me an additional $10 for the Beijing airport transfers we booked through them. I know $10 is not a lot of money, but to list one price which is confirmed and then charge another is kind of shady (not the mention the added stops to our Forbidden City/Great Wall tour)...just saying...
Everything was very well organized, the guide knew a lot about the places we have been and about the city. At the great wall we had our "freetime" to explore the wall by ourselves...
I did not get picked up in my hotel and also did not get dropped of The discount I got for the inconvenience mentioned above was very cheap, not good And the food at the restaurant near the wall was horrible..

The tour was amazing and our tour guy (Chris) was very professional. He told us all stories with many details and with a big knowledge even about others subjects. The 3 places are incredible, I recommend..
Unfortunately the pick up option from - to hotel was not as agreed. Passengers were asked to meet elsewhere and were dropped of elsewhere in Beijing. Otherwise the tour was really interesting and I can clearly recommend as a one day option to see most interesting sites in / around Beijing...
Friendly and Knowledgeable tour guide and a good driver. We were able to get a no pressure / no biased but useful historical inputs. Would recommend to others...

The driver and Tour guides were great! The visit to the Ming tomb and the tea house we did since the Forbidden City was closed on the Monday weren't so spectacular. (The tea ceremony was cool, but unnecessarily rushed and there wasn't soo much to see at the tomb.) the Great Wall was excellent though!!..
Chris was a fantastic tour guide. We probably should have asked to leave out the Jade outlet but forgot (just not our thing). The trip to the Forbidden city was great. It was a lifelong dream of mine to see and walk on the Great Wall and I will definitely be back to stay longer and do more. What an experience. Having your own car and driver for the trip and the lunch to break up the day was great. Fantastic Trip. Highly recommended...
Tour was good. Guide was great. Jade store.... not factory was silky expensive. Great walk was greater than anticipated...
