The tour was great! Mel, our guide, was really nice and he explained really well each place we visited. Other than the initial tour, I enjoyed a lot our visit to the tea house at the end of the day...
A pleasant trip. Pickup on time and guide spoke good English. As we are a tour of 10 person, no much waiting and have more free time to wander around Mutianyu. Lunch consists of 10 dishes for a table of 10 person at a restaurant beside entrance to The Great Wall. Not many crowd as it is a weekday. Very happy I chose this tour...
It was a nice experience. The guide tour Linda was very nice and well informed. She make the trip enjoyable and her English was understandable. The ming tombs there's not much to see so it's better to visit with a tour like this otherwise you'll make a tiresome trip. The wall is beautiful and the tea ceremony was nice...
We had a great time in Beijing me and my mother.Although it was short trip of 2 nights in Beijing we really had a blast.Many many thanks to Felix our tour guide, the man is simply a gem! He was well informed with the history of Beijing and the Great Wall of China.Definitely I would recommend China 1 day tour and especially if you could get Felix as your guide..

Our tour guide is Henry. His communication and explaination of the history of the places we visited is fluent. We opt for the Great Wall of China and Ming’s tomb. However we just feel that throughout the trip he keep rushing us. No patient. Alittle let down for our tour enjoyment. Pick up is at the hotel but when send back the bus drop us somewhere nearby the hotel and we have to do a small walk back. This is just to take note...
The positive point was that we had smooth transfers and were collected on time. The dinner in the restaurant was really good. Our tour guide, Ms Lee calling herself "HaHa" was unfortunately more a commander than a guide. Asking questions was not allowed, everyone had to listen to her long talks without any interactions ("Don't ask questions Iam talking now"). Being back not exactly on time would have meant: "Then you can take the green bus, the public bus". One point of the tour - a stop at the olympic park was not fulfilled at all, the bus passed by just showing it from a big distance and it was not even possible to take a picture. The products that were offered at the tea ceremony or at the jade factory were quite expensive...
Overall, it was a great tour. Well organized, professional, and on time. Our tour guides name was Jack and he was excellent. I highly recommended people this tour service..

Found tour to be informative, organised, gave us enough time to walk on wall, great to go up on chair lift & down on toboggan, would have been good to know of added expense, as the rides don’t take credit card.It a shame we didn’t get closer to see Olympic stadium, just drove past from a distance...
Super! We are portuguese and booked the trip by the booking tool several weeks before. On arriving at Beijing we confirmed our address and our selfphone. The day before we got a writen message in english at our appartment that was left at the reception by the guide informing all the steps we should take to meet the group. He left a message like this: leaving from the south gate from your Suites, turn left, walk for 500mt, turn right and meet by Hotel ** at 7:20h. It was perfect! All the trip was very interesting, leaving us time to enjoy the Great Wall and all places visited. By lunch time was served a nice buffet and on the afternoon the Tea Ceremony was a magical moment. The guide for the day was very interesting and also knowledgeable. However, we were not taken to the Olympic Stadium but were instead taken to a tea shop to taste and buy tea. The vehicle used was too small for the number of passengers, I was squashed in the back seat all day between two large gentlemen which was very uncomfortable...

This was a great tour to Mutianyu! We did as a group tour, but there were only 2 others with my wife and I. We went first to the Great Wall - left Beijing at 7am, and arrived at the Wall first before the crowds. A few more stops to the Jade Factory (could have skipped - high pressure shopping), Ming Tombs (great, but would have preferred more time rather than rushing through), and the "tea ceremony" - which was also high pressure shopping. Overall - great guide and driver for the price, and would highly recommend...

The lunch had a great variety of Asian as well as western food. We were originally going to do the trip ourselves but I'm so glad that I booked through these guys instead as it was such a stress-free day..

The tour was good! Everything in the itinerary was provided, Edward’s english was fine. The tour though seemed as a routine for the guide. I know he must have done hundreds, but if we book and pay a for a private one, we expect it to be higher class in terms of excitement, involvement, etc. Also, though basic and important info was always provided. We had to ask lots of questions to get the whole picture, an overview. Edward did take us to an extra spot after we asked for it. So I have to give him credit for the extra mile he went with us. Mutianyu we didn\'t saw for bad weather. changed site of great wall , opened on morning like said of your guide but we gone there on afternoon and so we found the gate closed due to heavy rains. On morning little and fast tour in Beijing, visited Ming\'s Tomb. Your giude know that great wall is most important for a tourists, he would had to change plans Pity that we could not see great wall Ferruccio Vianelli..
A total rip off! The ad is completly different from what you get. Very lame trip and rude guides..
