We attended this tour with only 2 other tourists. The tour guide - Amed - was very knowledgeable about the places that we visited and took the time to give us detailed information. We most definitely enjoyed the Mutianyu Great Wall the most - we took the cable cars to the top and took a slide down to the bottom again - way cool...
Unfortunately the driving experience to the Great Wall was bad. The driver drove recklessly through the curves and bends in the mountain passes and through the villages. 2 of us actually become carsick and we had to ask the drive twice to slow down. The tour guide was not very sympathetic and explained after the tour that the traffic was bad and therefore the driver had to drive at a higher speed. We all disagreed as it was spring festival and there was virtually no traffic.
This was our 2nd time using ChinaTour.net and although this experience could\'ve been better, our previous tour was great with no problems. We will probably use ChinaTour.net again, but this time we will make sure that it is with a bigger group where a coach is used, not a small minivan.
