We checked around upon arriving Beijing in the early morning free & easy and decided to book with China Tour after checking into our hotel. Booking was done online and confirmation by email was immediate. Kathy, our guide, called to confirm the pick up time for the next morning. Everything worked perfectly.
First stop was the Great Wall at Mutianyu and the scenery was great. You must not miss riding the toboggan on the way down. Lunch at Mr Yang, a short walk from the wall was perfect with an ice cold beer.
Second stop at the Ming Tomb was great too. The cool underground air inside the tomb on a hot Beijing summer needed no airconditioning.
Next stop was the jade factory, a great place to pick up some genuine jade jewelries.
Final stop at the tea house was perfect to enjoy some great tea including vintage PuEr served by a lovely English speaking lady.
Overall we enjoyed the tour so much that we decided book with them again for the forbidden city/summer palace tour the next day.
