Great service! I've took the 2 days private tour and also bought the flight tickets using chinatour.net. I had to book my tour in very short notice and since the first contact the agency offered a great service and managed everything in less than 12hs notice. Alicia (my guide) was just amazing! She was on time and arranged my day exactly per the things I told her I would like to do. The driver service and hotel were good and food was delicious! I had a great day and super recommend Alicia and Chinatour!..
I went on new year 2010-2011 to China for may be the 10th time, and took this tour for the 2nd time with my husband, and 2 of my friends. I can't say anything except that i was 100% satisfied and pleased with the time i spend there, and i highly recommend people to chose this tour and to visit China as it is the land of mystery and wonder!..
It was not a No Shopping tour at all, he brought us to buy silk and Jade, plus to a horrible little house as a restaurante..
The overall experience was great. Our tour guide was so funny and we got to learn a lot about the Chinese culture. I think China Tours should provide the tour guidance corporate clothes so you can easily recognise her/him. The tour was supposed to be from 8:00 to 18:00 both days but Tiannmen square was closed by the authorities and for the second day around 13:00 we were done and we couldn’t quite figure out what to do so we asked the driver to take us to the train station instead. Since this is something not that unlike to happen in China I suggest to China Tours to have a backup plan for those situations. It was supposed to be a non shopping tour but we were offered to buy tea into a tea shop, jade at the Great Wall and silk stuff into a shop, so I don’t quite know the difference if we could have done it with shopping instead, well I do....the price...
The tour took us to all the must-see sights in relative comfort. Our tour guide and driver were nice, however, we found the tour guide to be a bit lacking in information about each place we visited and would have expected more knowledge, history and anecdotes to be shared about some of the country's greatest sights to bring the things that we were seeing to life. Given that this was a private tour and not at all cheap, we were a little disappointed in this regard. Our driver also seemed rather irritated at having to drop us off at the end of the day to anywhere other than our hotel (we wanted to visit the art district) and though this was expressed to our tour guide in Chinese (which we don't speak), it was still pretty obvious and unprofessional. Finally, we had a slightly uncomfortable experience on the second day, when we were taken to lunch and told that the choices that we selected from the a la carte menu were outside of the budget. Given that this was an expensive private tour and we were not told in advance that the meals had to be of a specific type/cost, this was also disappointing. I would suggest that the satisfaction with this tour rests heavily on the tour guide...

Our Guide was very knowledgeable and very passionate about Chinese history, he had very good english and was extremely polite, honest, would highly recommend the experience...

Our guide and the tour were great and good value. The airport pickup was convenient but overpriced compared to taxis. There was a problem getting us tickets to the Forbidden City that was eventually solved. We were told in writing we could pay in US dollars which we did but were then asked to exchange for local currency which was a hassle involving passports and fingerprinting at the bank that could have been avoided. Even though this was a no shopping tour we agreed to visit a silk factory and a tea tasting. Both were tourist traps that should be avoided if possible...

Our guide, Roma was very nice and flexible, with good English and very informative. We have seen most of the highlights, and everything was fine. Still more time at the great wall would have been nice...
2 Day Private No Shopping Tour nightmare. Beijing Belly isn’t pleasant. Add a brand new Chinese car with that horrible new car vinyl smell, a driver who doesn’t know how the air conditioning works, a guide who doesn’t offer any commentary for the 90 minute drive to the Great Wall except constantly asking what you want for lunch (for the 20th time no thanks I’m unwell), crazy driving, a line of a hundred thousand at the Great Wall Chairlift, and when you say please just take me back to the hotel the guide and driver chat in Chinese for the next 90 minutes .... When I asked about perhaps we could do the Forbidden City this afternoon I was told tickets are sold out. So they dropped me back at the hotel by noon, I then took myself on the 10 minutes walk to the Forbidden City, no line at the ticket window, no problem getting a ticket, straight in, no guide, no driver, just on my own and it was fabulous. Following morning the guide arrives for day 2 , so I sent her away. Didn’t want anymore of my time ruined , just did it on my own...
It was one of the best organized tour that I have taken in any place. Jessica our English speaking guide is extremely well versed in local culture and history. Highly recommend it...

My wife and I took the two day Beijing private tour with China Tour on 9th and 10th August 2018. While the sites and the scenic beauty of the places we visited over the two days were fantastic, the tour was spoiled by the incompetent guide provided by China Tour. She did not have any knowledge of the places nor she new their locations properly. She kept asking other people for directions and we had no confidence in her ability to be a guide. To make things worse, her knowledge of English was terrible even though the company promised to provide an English speaking guide and we paid for it. We felt we were short changed at the end of the tour. I will strongly urge China Tour not to provide this guide to other tourists as this spoils the reputation of your company. unfortunately i cannot recommend your company to my friends and relatives who want to visit Beijing...
