Our guide for Beijing was Serena who is phenomenal--you should request her! I will gladly provide her contact information to schedule her outside of this company. Guide for Xian was Tina who again was fantastic. Bother ladies were very personable. We had no issues with any of the guides. Communication with China Tour is extremely difficult. My repeated requests for further information were never met. Repeatedly I asked for detailed schedule of the entire tour including what time each day would start and end with each guide. China Tour told me they could not provide this information as it is up to the individual contracted guides to communicate with the tourist upon arrival. I am a person who wants to know the exact schedule so that I can plan especially when I am in a country where I am dependent on the English speaking guide. I must commend the guides for their professional services, these services are the result of the guide and have nothing to do with China Tour scheduling and (lack of ) communication. This information can easily be provided by China Tour but they refuse. We discovered that the guide was not allowed by China Tour to accompany us to purchase our railway tickets (we didn't know about this process at all), nor would the guide be allowed to accompany us to the rail station to assist us in navigating the station that does not have ANY information is any other language other than Chinese. We observed and were assisted by other English speaking guides accompanying their tour groups through the station and literally going onto the train to seat their tourist groups. In that aspect, China Tour completely LIED to us and refused to assist. Were it not for the kindness of other guides, we would surely have been completely lost. I brought this concern to the attention of China Tour when our guide informed us that she could not assist us and China Tour had no compassion in offering assistance in one step in the tour that we thought was included in the cost. If you are a travel hacker expecting to score multiple points by charging this tour to your credit card, this will NOT happen. This company charges as business, not as travel category. I do NOT recommend contracting with this company!..
