After first experience during 2010, have decided to stay at same hotel. Although hotel is just a 3 star hotel but hospitality of staff, clean environment, perfect old fashion atmosphere, being on heart of Shanghai, makes this hotel as 5 star hotel. In my opinion very best managed hotel within JinJiang Group. I strongly recommend to all foreigners - especially to business man travelling with wife :) while you are enjoying with your business , ladies can enjoy with shopping and you will not have head-ache during dinner :))..
I told your agency that I will come very late to this hotel on the 19th march. I gave my credit card as a guarantee. When I arrived there on that day, they told us that they didn't have any room left at the price I booked. So they upgraded the room to a suite. The day after, we had to change to another room. I didn't like the people that work at the reception. When we want to ask question, or having information, they don't listen to you until the end of our request. I found them very rude. Not nice. I had to make a confirm for my flight going back to paris, the hotel offers the service for confirming flight, so I went to the office, the girl who worked there was supposed to confirm my flight since it's a service offered by the hotel. She made the number of the company, and then she gave me the phone. What a service!!! So lazy people!..
Didn,t like first room, but they changed room OK, see you get the front of the hotel, rear building is very claustrophobic. No safe in rooms...
