Unfortunately, we didn’t buy tickets for the train we wanted (which takes 4.5 hours from Xi'an to Beijing). We were offered tickets to another train, which takes 5.5 hours. Otherwise, everything was fine...
Everything fine, you can buy yout ticket at home, you go to China and take a train, wonderful :-)..
The only difficulty I found was trying to get the ticket fat the train station; it took me an hour with the help of one chinese girl thst was a translator. Almost nobody recognise the print out with the chinese writing. Other than that it was great!..
