The hotel's location down the road from the bell tower is very convenient! The breakfast was really good, and booking via the internet through China tours was a saving!..

I stayed in the hotel for two nights and it was one of the best hotels that I've ever been to. The hotel was close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower and the South City Gate. I felt safe all the time. I had a good sleep because the neighbourhood was quiet. The receptionists speak English and they give you directions which were really handy. The food was nice too. I had an excellent stay in Xi'an, thanks to Xi'an City Hotel. If I get another chance to travel in China, I will surely choose this same hotel...
We liked this hotel. The facilities are adequate and the location is excellent for all the tourist actrations in Xian The hotel certainly provides good value for money. I would try to reserve this hotel if I visit Xian again...
We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was quite old but kept clean. The carpet does smell thought but I guess you get use to it. It was very accessible for everything (drum tower, bell tower, muslim quarter). I would say that it's a good value for the price we payed. Good for budget traveller...
My mom and I stayed at this hotel. It was inexpensive and came by recommendation of a friend. We chose single rooms (they are tiny) but we were there only for sleeping so it did not matter. The location was right downtown close to the Bell Tower and very convenient for us to make our way around Xi'an. I would recommend that you book the hotel if available...

Good hotel. Fantastic shower - despite all the signs telling you how to conserve water by not having the towels washed, all the plumbing fixtures are quite far from stingy in their delivery of water. Breakfast was tolerable, but 7am is too late. Seems to be consistent in China. Airport bus is just around the corner. Internet is available at 5 yuan per hour, but the machines are antiquated Windows 98 machines and take several seconds to switch between different windows...
