The price at the begining was great and cheap. But at the end we went to a lunch we don't want to and thought as all of the tourists it was included, so , all of us thought it was great but at the end the guide told us we need to pay for the lunch ...and even the rest of the tourists thought that was kind of trick...
My family was super excited to go and see the Great Wall. Due to illness we booked the tickets a little late and had to do it on our last day in China, however we booked and confirmed pickup details the following day with our guide. We set our alarm for 5.30am so we could get up and get organised to go. the car turned up, after about 40min trying to get tickets on arrival we finally arrived at the wall... We caught the cable car up, ready to enjoy a leisurely walk to Tower 6 to catch the toboggan ride down. As we arrived at the wall at 3.30pm we received a message from the tour company explaining that the toboggan ride was closing at 5pm... They\'d also told us that we needed at least 30 minutes to line up for the ride...
Received a call at midnight the night before our tour that changed collection time and hotel location. We were asked to get metro or taxi and go to a downtown hotel and get picked up at 7am because there were more tourists being collected from there...
Great tour guide. Kobe was friendly and knowledgeable and great help to everyone during the whole trip. On the jade museum and tea ceremony, the sales reps were not pushy which is not a given. Instead, we were given a relatively good understanding of the tea culture...
Worst tour ever. Your host was trash and just trying to up sell you everything. She guards you solely to where she knows the vendor even if they more expensive than others. Oh they tell you is hotel pick up and drop off. We’ll be prepared to walk during the drop off. Heck they gotten money from you, you don’t mean much to them now...
The booking was perfect, but very oriented to people willing to shop. They helped me a lot with my booking, even though if sometimes the guide was quite rude when questions were asked...
The tour was well organized. I got picked up at the hotel on time and when we drove around picking up other people the guide gave some recommendations about areas to visit in Beijing also. Then we went to the wall. We had plenty of time to walk on the wall so it didn't feel stressful...
Chris was good, I feel his job is simple. But the driver was very reckless, mainly in Beijing streets...
great Price to get to experience Mutianyu section of the wall. Guide spoke good English. 4 stars because I felt a bit rushed - didn’t get the full four hours on the wall as advertised. Jade shop is way overpriced...
