The guide would start talking before I was able to even catch up to them. She rushed us through the forbidden city. We didn’t even get to look into any of the rooms. And I’m very unhappy about the refund process when I had to change tickets and cancel a performance because of the virus...
We did the reservations and after the confirmation tried to contact ChinaTour but nobody has responded to us in any way. On the day of the tour beginning nobody has contacted us, nor replied on email. Thank God we didn't pre-paid the tour. Wouldn't recommend it to further tourists...

I ORDERED A SMALL GROUP . ENDED WITH A MINIBUS OF 20 PEOPLE .THE TOUR WAS GOOD THE EXPLANATIONS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER .WOULD RECOMEND THE TOUR IT WAS VERY EASY TO GO . THE PICK UP WAD ON TIME AND THE GUIDE WAS VERY RESPOSIABLE. THE SECOND DAY WAS WITH A SMALLER GROUP AND TOOK US TO THE GREAT WALL. THE INFO SAID NO STORES BUT EVANTUALLY WE WENT INTO SOME FACTORIES ....QUITE A WASTE OF TIME. THE LUNCHES WERE QUITE GOOD...

The Tour spent a lot of time in "commercial visits" to a massage place, a Jade market and a Pearl market that were not mentioned as part of the tour. Added to this, I was in Beijing 2 or 3 weeks before to the celebration for the 70° Aniversary of the Chinese Revolution, when the circulation through the streets was really very restricted in some zones, and on September 14 the tourist guide left us in the street, near to the Olimpique stadium, at a very long distance of our hotel, in a place were the metro station was closed and without any possibility to have access to public transportation. The second day (September 15) we had a similar situation and the tourist guide refused to take us to our hotel before the streets were closed while the people taking the city tour was "obliged" to attend to a massage session. The name of the tourist guide was Linda...
We were pleasantly surprised with this tour! The tour guide was helpful, friendly and he spoke English just fine; we got used to the accent after a couple of hours. :) Good value, compared to the private, made to measure tours. There are shop stops, however, we found them interesting: Chinese silk, tea, jade and medicine "tours") and the sellers were not pushy and, instead, friendly and resourceful to those interested. I'd recommend this tour to my friends and family...
Few time, too shops, Low quality restaurant. We had a "run" in through the forbidden city, we spent too much time in shops but we would prefer to have more time in forbidden city and in summer palace!..
The two day tour in Beijing was fantastic, our tour guide Henry was very friendly and knowledgeable! The only thing I didn’t care for was the food (cheap and westernized), but to be honest I didn’t go there for the food. I would definitely recommend This tour if you done have long in China!..
Great professional company. Our tour guides spoke good English and were helpful, punctual and knowledgeable. All the included meals were tasty. Tour vans and buses were clean and well maintained. I definitely would book a tour with this company again...
the overall tours is great, however, the down side is the shopping, understand the tour package is including visiting shop, but just feel like a bit intimidate from shop owner to buy their stuff with prices much higher than the market price...
Guide speaks good English, nice guy, China tours co is good. . Howeever travel guide mid guided us to skip seeing summer palace and later found that is important travel spot not to mis!!!it is our fault partially asking guide if summer palace is important spot...still we expected genuine advice as a new comer to advice..
