First drive to the downtown, then discover the history and culture of Shanghai in Yu Garden, which has a history of over 400 years and is characteristic of the Ming dynasty architectural style. Then walk around in the Yuyuan Bazaar, where there are many kinds of local specialties and snacks.
Have typical Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.
Move on to the Bund area, the highlight of Shanghai, one mile stroll affords many spectacular views. Walk around to experience the profound history and enjoy the beautiful scenery, see the most famous and attractive sights of the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the bund. You will visit Shanghai Tower, the highest building in Shanghai. Have a bird's eye view of the city on the 118th floor observation deck.
Take a walk on the famous Nanjing Road.
Then explore the Shanghai typical alley at Tianzifang, and stroll around the Former French Concession to see what the old colonial French quarter was like.
Transfer back to the cruise port or Shanghai Hongqiao Airport or your hotel in downtown Shanghai.
