Booking from south africa on ChinaTour.net was so quick and easy, however I had to mail customer service as I had not received my confirmation within the 48 hours that the original mail had stated. Once done I received confirmation for all my train and internal flights within 20 minutes of sending the mail. I would highly recommend this website for booking trips through China and i will use it again in future...
The ride in your train was very pleasant, comfortable and nice. however at the train station you need more signing to know where to check in and where the departure gates are...
Most of the services we purchased through you were fine, Except the tickets flight from Xining to Beijing - we had a problem at the airport counter that they claimed that the Capital Airlines did not include a suitcase luggage and we had to pay for the luggages. On the tickets not mentioned that is not include a luggage. On the previous flight where we had the same ticket we did not encounter this problem, it was Eastern Airline. So the big airlines are much better than the small airline company...

The service is great but be we had a problem with retrieving the tickets as our passport numbers did not display correctly on the system. Our passports had an alphabetical prefix which did not pick up on the system and we had a few tense moments convincing the ticket office that they were correct...

Good service and booking system. But when i needed to cancel my trip, they charged quite a significant amount, 30% of the cost, so make sure your trip will push thru 100% before booking..
