We missed a train and did not get credit or refund for the ticket. This is unfair...
This was not a good booking. Planned to be on a 4.0 hr ride from Shanghai to Beijing. Never received tickets to hotel. Contacted them and they were sorry to say that it was over booked and we (my son and I) had to take an earlier train that took 6.5 hrs! I booked my tickets a month in advance and there was plenty of space!!! Very disappointed. I don't think they will make that mistake twice...

Booking process on the net is very easy. 5 STARS. Picket up of tickets at station very easy. 5 STARS. Our preferred train was fully booked and we were offered another train, as we had not received confirmation we rang and were told that they had not received our reply email. We were now at the station and the interaction on the phone could have been better, the operator spoke English but their comprehension was not that great. 1 STAR. We will be using again and allow more time prior to departure...
Book a train ticket without hassles. Just print the voucher and show it to the ticket counter with your passport. I will use chinatour.net again next time I visit China...
Chiina tour totally messed up our booking! We were supposed to travel and we paid for first class train tickets from Beijing to Shanghai. After so many emails and telephone calls.. we were separated into different carriages and had to travel Second class. Terrible seats. We have still not received refund for what we paid. We will NEVER use this tour company again... abysmal..

It works very well, you have to show the print of your virtual ticket, with your passport, then they release the train tickets you have booked. Now I will use it everytime that I need a train ticket in China...
