Booking experience was good but received an email later stating i need to send copies of passport. You should have some questions in the beginning to make sure all information required for the reservation is available. Also it turned out that the passport number was wrong so i dould not use the ticket i had booked and had to cancel. It would be good to confirm the passport number entered is correct compared to the copy of passport you have on file. Also for foreigners it will be good to highlight what station in Beijing the train leaves from. I missed my train as i went to the wrong station. This is not your responsibility but will be goot service to foreigners if you can make such notations after resrevation..

From Canada, it was easy procedure to book overnite soft sleeper train from Beijing to Datong ( 6+ hours ride). We went day before by taxi (charged exorbitant rate) to P/U tickets & to become familiar with Beijing Train Station . The P/U ticket building had huge sign & was easy to P/U ticket when we showed online Chinese instructions. The entrances for train is a distance in the huge square & had to asked many times for right queue. Once entered , there are staff to help direct to correct waiting (gate) area so it was a relieve. Many food & shops around. Suggest U line up at gate once U see queue forming as it would be crowded.Taking subway i s very cheap ( but not advisable with big/many luggages) & easy to use . There are maps with Chinese & English of each station so just use map for the direction/destination U want...

Very disappointed with the ticket booking service. We must to write to revive an answer and ask for our tickets. After that many of our trips was sold out so the company relocated our sits at other trains...
