I had a lovely private day tour of Suzhou and Zhouzhuang with my guide Johnny. He rang me at my hotel to confirm the tour the night prior, and came to collect me at the hotel on time, on the day. He was very pleasant and shared lots of information about the history, traditions, and the life of people in these towns. His English was superb. Not to mention, I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone. Suzhou and Zhouzhuang were breathtaking places to visit. Its a far cry from the busy, and crowded Shanghai. Anyone who loves Venice, would in deed love and enjoy Zhouzhuang. I would recommend anyone visiting Shanghai to do this tour (and the Gondola ride) !..
We had a wonderful experience , the tour guide was excellent, very well inform. The driver was a good driver but he was driving to fast on the way back and was raining...

We enjoyed our one day tour to Suzhou and Zhouzhuang. We didnt see the walls of Suzhou but did visit two gardens - we far preferred the Lion Garden as it was less crowded. We then went to lunch which was a mediocre western buffet - we would have preferred some authentic Chinese fare instead. We were then taken to the silk factory which was very interesting. The highlight of the day was our visit to Zhouzhuang which was lovely. Our tour guide Annie had a good knowledge of English so we had a very pleasant day...
I found the journey very interesting. The Suzhou visit it was mainly to a beautiful Chinese garden. The only problem is that maybe the guides should be more prepared, the explanation was too basic. Also, I could be interesting to see the city. We only saw the external walls, and we didn’t visit the inside. It was a long drive to see only a garden. The Zhouzhuang visit is much better. It's a popular touristic place, but it's very special. We traveled inside a boat, and the views from the boat were great...

lunch dumpling, timing from pick up at hotel at 9 arrived at Suzhou at 10.45 ... arrived at Zhouzhuang at 14.30 no enought time to visite well...
Pretty satisfied with the tour especially how enthusiastic the tour guide was. One unfortunate constructive feedback is that the lunch provided isn’t great at all. They were cold, and unfresh. I hope you guys can improve on that...
Tour was good, but the price is very high , food menu of the lunch is not for us Indians , shopping time is unnecessarily added..

Enjoyed sights visited but drive there and back was very long and uncomfortable since obliged to sit at rear of van even though first passengers to be collected - also were last passengers to be returned adding to frustration..
