My tour with Chinatours was amazing. The guides spoke english very well and even spoke mandarin with me to help me practice. They had a very deep knowledge of Chinese history and culture and I loved how they came directly into my hostel's lobby to pick me up, it made everything smooth and I had a great experience. I want to shout out my tour guides: Jackson, Sabrina, and Li Hong. They were amazing and took us to places in Beijing I never would have been able to get to if I travelled by myself. Highly recommend this tour!..
Our guides were vey nice and explain us clearly, on the tour we just had a very bad expierience on the Beijing Hospital of taditional medicine so we dont recomend that you visit that hospital as part of the tour..
fantastic, everyone was amazing and the tour was very informative. my guides were all great and made the tour really enjoyable for me, i did have apprehension as a solo traveler - but there was nothing to worry about in the end...

Great tour, I got to see a lot of many beautifull places. The day I visited the great wall I also visited Ming tumb, in my personal opinion I could skip Ming tumb and maybe visit other parts of the great Wall. Last day we did not see to much, it was like half a day tour...
Overall ok. Tour guide was so so. 1st day tour was great, got to second and third day were not effective and time was not used efficiently. We supposed to see the highlight of the tour in second day in Summer Palace-which is the Palace, instead we were just introduced to the lake and the bridge and see the Summer Palace from a distance. The tour guide should have arranged the schedule accordingly with no excuse. This review is solely intended as encouragement to improve service and performance of ChinaTour to perform and provide better service, so tourists can relax, enjoy and leave with an impression that their money spent on ChinaTour worth every penny. It was unpleasant that each we had another car and another driver and all of them were not very polite...

The sights were amazing and the general organisation great, but i wish there was less focus on visits to shops doing the hard-sell. More focus needs to be put into the actual sights and culture of China, which is why we went in the first place. I appreciate you are paid for these 'shopping opportunities' but i would rather have paid more and done without these interruptions...
This tour was great value. I would do it again. We were staying in a hotel a bit further out so we had to find our own way to a closer hotel. The bus was running late for pick up but this was due to traffic and other passengers not showing up on time. There was lunch provided every day which was plentiful. We did the option with shopping stops to make it cheaper and we found these to be informative and not overly pushy. If you do t want to buy anything you just have to say no. All in all a great tour...

Definitely a good introduction tour, but poor value for money. The first day - The Wall - did not offer the longer walk option (discovered later). The third "Day" was hotel pickup at 8:00 am; hotel drop off 12:30pm - just 1/2 day...
