The overall of the trip is very fruitful and well organised except the extra shopping trip. The extra shopping trip is great except duration of time may be too short for interested party especially the jade shopping where 10~15 mins is definitely not enough for ladies like my wife whom fond of such stones. Another pointer to note is the tour guide's English speaking accent not easily for us to comprehend as shared with travelers from Asia and Europe...

I can highly recommend the 3 Day Beijing Classic Tour. The Tour guides are well informed. The guides are on time and go to a lot of trouble to make sure you get to see everything. The vehicle is in good condition and the local restaurants they take you to serve great food. There is quite a bit of walking so comfortable shoes are a necessity. This tour was great value for money...

The tour itself was good, however there were some communication problem we ran into. I booked a 3-day Beijing Coach Tour for myself and my sister. First of all, the guides each day are different, and they call you each night to arrange pick up time and location. This was difficult for us because coming from Canada I do not have a Chinese number nor was willing to obtain one for the trip (as I am a student), and we were staying at a residential home, not a hotel, so phoning was difficult. On the evening of the second day/third day, we were not contacted at all, and did not receive a tour. We were supposed to visit the Forbidden City that day, and were not even told it wad closed for a parade. The previous two days we had worked it out just fine. The tours itself was good, covering a lot of the sights in a short amount of time...

Thank you for a great 3 day tour. We will use your tour company again around China. David was a local and spoke very good English and answered our endless questions. We did nott have to wait long in lines and we visited the Mutianyu section of the wall, where we were delighted to find very few people there and no lines for the cable car. While the tour is no frills and low budget we felt it gave us a very good feel of Beijing. The lunchs were in local restarants - where the food was nice and typical but I would take plenty of water as the drinks were overpriced. We live in China and speak basic Chinese so would be happy to recommend the tour company for people wanting to experience China and have a medium fitness level as theres a bit of walking to do....Special Thank you to David you really looked after us.......

My opinion about this trip is Unequivocal. they come on time . you don\'t wait. the trip to the great wall is wonderful with good food . the tour to the forbidden city is good too but other tours you just get to the place and they give you \"free time\" no explanation . so i cant say they are so good but average...

I am writing to let you know that I had a wonderful time on the tours that I took May 31 to June 2. Maggie was wonderful as the guide. I loved the experience and have recommended your company to a number of people since I have been on the tours. Thank you for the very pleasurable three days of sightseeing...

I found this agency looking at internet, and was satisfied with the tour. Our tour guide, Emmet (I hope I wrote the name right!) was very professional, had excelent knowledge of all sites, and make us feel confortable in the tour; unfortunelly, in the first day of our tour, we had a driver that made us feel worried, because of his way of driving, we definelly did not like him! So, Emmet talked in agency and provided a second one, that was very good. We had lunch in all days, but the best one was at Hutong visit. I recommend this tour, and if you are lucky to have Emmet as a tour guide, for sure it will be great...

The tour was very good and educational – tour guides speak good English (especially Jimmy and Neo), and they are all very knowledgeable of Chinese history. They tirelessly explain the relevance in history of each attraction. We were a little disappointed with the 1st day though because (1) we did not get a good view of the Great Wall as it was drizzling and very foggy. The 2nd day (Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, etc.) was full of walk --- so guests should prepare for this by wearing comfortable shoes and gear. We had our best lunch on the 3rd day at the Hutong Tour. we would recommend this tour company, We suggest that guests bring with them a copy of the itinerary so they would know if said itinerary is properly followed...

Overall the tour program is alright but minor feedback to improve the service : 1. The tour leader should be more flexible on tour destination. she brought us to tianamen square and forbidden city walking for 2 hour under direct sunlight in the middle of the day. We did not enjoy the tour under the hot sunshine. It will be better if it was done in the morning time. 2. Badaling Great Wall is so crowded, we could not get good picture there, during the way back to city, I saw some good spot to take a picture with great wall background, if the agent willing to stop for 10min taking picture, it would great. 3. The tour agent walk a little fast (summer palace, tianamen square, forbidden city). The tour member are combination of older people and children. 4. I am very satisfy with the support of Mr. Wang, he response on all my query on timely manner, he even call me during my arrival to ensure the driver pick up on time. Thank you..

The tour was great. The first two days were exceptionals. The third day was only ok as the Hutong tour is not something I recomend as you are asked to pay extra (for the "bycicle rider" and the extra tour guide that joined us) and because that part of the city is not what it use to be in the past and the people who lives there doesnt realy do anything to keep it clean. You dont have to worry for lunch as everything is set up by the agency and..

I recommend this company as they are reasonably priced, efficient and organized. Cynthia, our tour guide made Beijing come alive for us. She was firendly, informative and professional. The first two days of the tour were impressive, the last day okay as the Hutongs have all been rebuilt, although the lunch in a local household was very good, and the local guide was interesting to talk with. As the tour encapsulates 2 shopping along the way, it is recommend that before you start the tour send a down familiarising yourself with the Chinese currency and pricing systems and of oourse refine your haggling skills. Wangfujing area gives you good practice in this. This preparation may assist you with undertanding the pricing and the quality of goods on the tour stops, and keep in mind they are generally good quality products you encounter. Overall, a plesant introduction to Beijing..

I am a seasoned elderly widow travelling on my own. I found ChinaTour on the web and put myself in their hands completely for 4 days in Beijing. I was met at the airport, did the 3-day small group tour plus an evening tour (Peking duck) tour with guide Nicola (speaks English, a necessity for me). The 3 day tour covers the major highlights in Beijing and the guide was knowledgeable. It was quite a busy 3 days! I was picked from and delivered to my hotel (also booked through ChinaTour) each day. On the 4th day I flew (independantly) to Xian where China tour arranged an individual terra cotta army tour for me. This was also good. I certainly recommend their services. I suggest that you print out and take with you the itinerary for each day's tour with you, as on one day my guide wanted me to combine the day and evening tours. By having it with you you can ensure that all points are covered as described. My guide took me for an unscheduled foot massage (short, cheap and OK- unexpected extra payment required though) and after that there was no time to visit the Olympic stadium (as scheduled and which I would have preferred). It was not made clear to me that the foot massage would mean that I could only see the stadium whizzing by from the road. I wondered what 'interest' my guide had in the foot massage??!! I didn't have th e print out of the tour with me. Luckily I had a free day on my own in Beijing after the tours were over and so I got to Olympic park on my own. Overall I have no hesistation in recommending ChinaTour...

This tour was booked on the Internet 2 days before we visited Beijing. Our guide was phoning the night before to confirm that collection time. Pick-ups were on time and our guide Penny was very We saw a lot on our tours. This was excellent value for money. The service was fantastic and Penny is a great guide. Penny was our personal tour guide and despite the rushed atmosphere caused to having to see so many sites in one day, she was very informative...

I booked this 3 days bus tour before arriving in Beijing. Our tour guide, Cynthia, was with us for the first two days and was assigned to a different tour in the last day, and we were given another tour guide who speaks English less well. Furthermore, the last day was not a full day and everything ended by 2:30 PM which was upsetting to us; we asked if we could go to a close by park and we were told that we have to pay additional money to do that. I don\'t think that tour guides should be changed after they are assigned because the group gets used to one person. I also think that tour guides should be tested to make sure that they can speak and understand whatever language(not only English) they are using to communicate with the tourists...

my boyfriend and i took the three day tour. it was a great deal. we had a tour guide named cindy and she was wonderful she helped us with whatever we needed. we called her if we needed directions and she would talk to the taxi driver and she even set us up with anything extra that we wanted to do, and gave us helpful information on what to do or where to go and what places were good to see. as far as the tour day one for us was wonderful, day two we were a little dissapointed because we have been dying to see summer palace and all we did there was go in the boat across the river and back literally that was it, because it was during China holiday golden week (May first~seventh) and there were tons and tons of people so it was hard to enjoy it all and get around but it was still pretty good, my boyfriend had planned on proposing to me at summer palace, but we didnt get the chance. on day three it was short but great because we went to HuTong and thats where my boyfriend asked me to marry him when we were on the rickshaws, but overall our trip was wonderful and it was worth the $80 we paid plus a few extra...i would recommend this tour for others..

exelent tours, highly recomended. first 2 days I had a tourguide named Helen, very nice and helpful and lots of knowlage. 2 day was very long day, 7am to 6pm until I reached my hotel 3 day was very short, maybe should move something from day 2 to day3..but I did not complain about the short day, I was tired from dag before so going back to hotel early was good at day 3. to everyone going here in wintertime, bring LOTS of warmcloths, you will be outside standing still a lot and then into a warm car and then out in cold again, I got bad cold even with lots of cloths on me. on 3 day I had tourguide named Sui, she even followed me to Kung Fu show dayafter on her day off, VERY thankful..she was great. you will se most of all Beijing major attractions with great tourguides Easy 5 of 5..

First I've booked for 3 days tour but decided to change to 2 days instead. I really impressed in services that you have provided. Great. In term of tour, I really enjoy and your tour guide for the first day when I went to great wall and Ming tomb. She was fantastic, service mind, friendly, etc. Her name is May. On the second day I had another lady as our tour guide. I couldn't remember her name right now (around 40+ years old). She was not quite helpful and freiendly as May. Most of the time she will talk with driver and give not many information on the way. Overall my experience with you, I enjoy and appriciate your service and will introduce to any people who would like to come to Beijing. Thanks again. Sanya..

I think the 3 day concept works perfectly well and i suggest one takes it if one is not savvy with the language in Beijing. What could have helped is if it was mentioned what order would we be seeing the different places. Its better The last day was the longer day that incuded forbidden city, summer palace etc etc. that required a lot of walking and we werent prepared with the clothes and were over dressed for the first day for hutong palace. Dont spend too much time at buying stuff at street vendors and those special markets you are taken where they sell over priced tea and jade. The guides are well informed and most importantly take a headcount everytime to make sure the lot moves smoothly without loosing anyone. The driver equally accomodating and also agreed to drop us to a shopping district a few KMs away from our hotel after returning from the long trips. Make sure you let them know in advance if u r a vegetarian else those meals you have may not suite your taste and palate. A recommendatio to the tour operators: Please extend the time spent at Summer Palace and atleast include the trip to the marble boat and a climb up the palace tower. You could avoid the trip to some sections of the temple of heaven..

You dont have to worry for lunch as everything is set up by the agency and the brakefast is also included at the hotel. Realy recomed the Paragon Howard Johnson Hotel. They pick you up at the exact time in the airport when you arrive and at the hotel for the tour day and when you are leaving. Sophie, our tour guide was more than excelent, she's a realy helpfull person not only at tour related facts but also to help you get things done when you really need something...
