I found the Web site onesided and inflexible. I called the ticket centre and the lady responding to mycall was very curteous. I went to the centre and all was done in a few minutes. I have only good to say about the staff. However, regarding teh management, as so many "service providers" in China, has a lot to be desired from. The Web site is slow, and payment terms offer little flexibility. There is no delivery and cash service, which for residents in Beijing and China are of great convenience. The confirmation Email was scrambled and misleading. I had to call back to the centre and ask for personal confirmation that my payment and booking are completed and I will not have surprises on teh airport. FInally all was done. Overall time to buy my ticket was about 3:20 h. I will use the "service" again for two reasons: 1) the staff was helpful 2) the poor management of this service is not much different from any other Chinese "service". I do not think management here has any concept of what customer service is. The whole thing clearly suggests that the business is solely after the money...
I have booked with china net twice now, the first time everything ran smoothly. the second time was my worst nightmare. I booked on the Internet the day before and when arriving at the airport for an early morning flight I was told they did not have a booking for me. You can understand being an Australian in China the language barrier leaves a lot to be desired. After showingnthebairlinenstaff my booking number I noticed it was still pending. Would be nice to know that this happens. When I see a confirmation number you would think that this has been confirmed. Anyway after getting no where with the staff I decided to buy another ticket the ticket cost me $120 US more and I got out of there not long after. Maybe part my mistake for not seeing the pending notification but we are in china now. Although disappointing and could have got ugly I will,use this service again..

Prior to our 3-week trip to China we booked a flight online in Australia from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia to Guilin in southern China. As we had never heard of the airline Beijing Capital (aka Deer Air) we visited ChinaTour.Net's offices directly while in Beijing to confirm our booking. This was not necessary at all as the process was flawless, simply presenting our passports upon check-in at the airport and the rest was taken care of. hi, this was my first itme in China and flying internally was a little daunting. Turned out to be relatively easy. The Beijing domestic terminal is very organised given the volume of air traffic it caters for. Air China were acceptional and would have no issue choosing to fly with them again. The only thing you need to be aware of is, when and if, you return to Beijing, you'll get off the plane and follow the directions to the luggage collection and descend down a couple of escalators. Here you'll stop and suffer a bout of confusion. You can relax, you have to get on a subway train that takes you to the part of the airport with the luggage carrosels...
