Great service for train tickets. Only suggestion is to provide map of Internet tickets collection counter for major stations. These train stations are huge and crowded. For example at Beijing west the collection window is downstairs not in departures upstairs and also directions not easy due to language barrier. Otherwise recommend these services...

Very good and reliable service. I bought 20 tickets for the same schedule for group and I had to pay 20 time the commission, which I find far too expansive. They should make discount for group reservation.....

Booking was good, but as train was pretty full, the last trip was spread in 3 different carriages. We could change that at the railway station. This could have been done at beginning at booking. Else I’m satified with the booking...

Great service. Great information and advice. Good way to get train tickets, I've used ChinaTour several times. Note that trains are MUCH more reliable than domestic air travel in monsoon season especially. Prices are equivalent to local agents and even the official website, with a small fee spelled out on the site. The precautions and advice on the website are especially helpful. I recommend having the ticket for the train delivered to hotel, not much more expense. I recommend Red Caps also, if needed (thanks to info by ChinaTour) . If you have more than light carry-ons, USE the RED CAPS! Legal, honest and eager to help, prices are set and all transactions have receipts. They act like capable and interested public servants, which they are. Their English skills may not be strong but with phones and written messages you should work most things out. We learned that you CAN arrange for Red Caps to meet you at destination, but I thought I'd asked at departure station and got a negative answer, so you may need to persist, and clarify. It helped that I am a competent speaker of Chinese, but sometimes it can cause more trouble than otherwise since they assume I know the details about train travel, and I don't, as with the Red Cap question (had I been dealing in English they would have been more diligent to find out what I meant, probably). I could not have had as successful a trip without this website. Note on Luggage: We had too much, three suitcases between the two of us plus carry-ons, which does not work on any domestic travel, whether bullet, deluxe sleeper or air, might work on distance bus, depending. One light suitcase plus one carry-on, possibly two carry-ons, is about all you'll want to drag around -- on any conveyance! We brought and took gifts, so planning lighter and smaller alternatives. We rode ordinary train, soft sleeper (not deluxe), great experience! Toilets cleaner than in the past but you may need to look for the Western toilet (not a good idea to experiment with new toilet type in a moving train)...
We have git our train ticket very easy correspondently with our pervious order by internet. The ride was very comfortable on the bullet train...

I booked a ticket going from Guangzhou to Hung Hom (HK). Booking the ticket online was easy enough, but if you need to change the time or cancel, it is impossible to do online. You must go to the station, well actually to the agent who sits at one of the tables inside KFC. That location from where I live is around a 4 hour journey. Not so convenient. They did however respond to my emails quickly, but weren't very helpful in providing actual solutions. I ended up having to change the time of my first train, which is another story entirely! Anyway I made it to KFC in time to collect my ticket to find that the price I paid and what I could have easily bought the ticket for at the station, were quite different, there was about an ¥80 markup. Perhaps this is just for this particular ticket, but if I was doing this trip to HK again, I would just wait and buy a ticket when I get to the station...
In general, very good service. However, the seat was a bit narrow and I was sit near to someone big. So the travel was not very comfortable...
