I will start with the best review I can give. I would use ChinaTour.Net ANY time in the future. They are efficient, quick with setting up service. One of my trains was cancelled several weeks after booking. ChinaTour.Net was emailing me immediately for alternative routes and scheduling. They keep track of everything for you. This may sound small, but with inexperience traveling in China, ChinaTour.Net followed up with instructions in Chinese for the ticket agents at the train stations. I just printed the instructions in Chinese from ChinaTour.Net email. This sounds like a small thing, but other places where I did not have the information for taxi driver, hotel person etc. it became a lot of time trying to tell the person what we needed. ChinaTour.Net had everything set up and given to me to make things easy. I definitely recommend them...

I'm very disappointed. I've purchased so many tickets, unfortunately 1 of the tickets I overlooked one of the passport number did not record correctly. So I have to do the refund and re purchase on the spot. The officer at the train station told me they can only refund back to Chinatour.net. I've informed Chinatour.net twice since 28th March. But no reply each time. All the money been refunded to Chinatour.net. But it didn't refund back to me. I don't even received any news since then. Frustrating!!!..
Eventhough we don't get the ticket, their response is good and fast, also they do the refund full without any charges...
I was disappointed that I had to e-mail them to get my tickets. I had booked two months ahead of time but tickets could only be booked 30 days in advance...

Awesome train ride from Xian to Chengdu. Service on the train was excellent too. Some kind of 'map' in the information brochure would be great (in English if possible)...
the booking was done great, I would have need more explaination how to withdraw the tickets at the train station. when you sent me a paper (gree) to show, the machine can't read it. Someone did help me witht the automatic machine (long queue), inchinese, had to put my passport and get the ticket. all went fine, however withotu help from a person, we could have lose a lot fo time. thanks..
Everything was quite smooth. I got my references number, just need to go to train station then ask the officer to print out. When I was in Nanjing, the queue was so long, so take a bit of time for printing. So prepare for it. If you travel a lot, print all at one time, will have to save your time. The fee is slighty higher than the price sold in the train station but for your convenience and time, I still recommend to go with Chinatour...
