Very disappointed. I was rejected at the train station because the passport number listed on the ticket was incorrect. This was despite me verifying. I attempted to correct the issue for my return trip scheduled for 2 days later and it could not happen. I was charged for the trip and did not receive any serice...
I had a great trip, but 2 of my colleagues did not, as they had confirmation numbers and could not get on the train. They had to take a plane to our destination..
Booking was easy. Paying was easy and safe through Paypal. I selcted to pay a little extra to have tickets delivered in advance to our hotel. Definitely worth it as they were already there when we arrived at the hotel giving me peace of mind that evreything was in order for our train journey 3 days later. The only thing tha was disappointing was that I could not choose and book the exact seats I wanted. I had to take what had been allocated. I contacted ChinaTour.NET via email three times after making the booking online to try and book specific seats. Whilst they replied to me they did not answer my questions and did not help me to book specific seats :-(..
Easy and convenient for travelers without China IC card. Just show passport at station and pick up ticket. Arrive at least 30 minutes before if there is a line at the special pick up window..

Price of train ticket is more then triple the original price. While I’m ok with that due to the lack of English purchasing site, the timing they gave was wrong! By over two hours. It was a good thing I checked a day before at the train station itself...
Booking process was great but tickets expensive for first class. Seats very comfortable but the snack box needs improving. Could have separate quiet coach as people were talking very loudly on their phones and watching soaps with out headphones. We missed the train due to the delay in security check with communication issues. Husband had to give shaving foam away ! Ridiculous...
