I recently booked 4 trains in Yunnan Province 2 months before travel. Out of 4 trains, 2 were cancelled and 2 were "full" so I didn't get any of the trains I wanted. Very disappointing. I will have to find another more reliable way to book my China trains...

But I spent (with a lot of Chinese people) many night hours in front of the Shanghai Hongqiao Railway station, which was closed during night. Information about closing time of the stations could be provided in your instructions...

Booked train tickets with China Tour for Xi'An to Beijing and Beijing to Shanghai , I found their web site very easy to use. My only observation is that for both trips the tickets were only delivered the day before we were due to take them, which would not leave much time if there was an issue or an error with the tickets. In both Xi'An and Beijing we were in the hotel for 5 nights before taking the trains, and China Tour had our hotel dates. I would have felt a little more relaxed if the tickets had been delivered say 2 days before we were due to travel...

After purchasing tickets on this website and then having the money withdrawn from my bank account, I received an email saying that the tickets were no longer available. I called 4 times to purchase tickets, each time the company said they would do it and send me a confirmation, and i never received one. Finally after my fourth call, I got a confirmation the day before I left on my trip. It was a complete headache, and I would not suggest using this company...

App is working very slowly. Time to purchase a ticket is too long. You can’t wait up to 12 hours when buying electronic ticket. Not to mention that is not an electronic ticket. What’s the electronic part of it when you still need to go and queue at the station to get a paper ticket. From my perspective it’s a waste of time because first you waste time purchasing ticket and waiting to get it processed and then you need to go and queue for the paper ticket instead of going straight for the paper one. Completely useless and misleading!!!..
