Tour Itinerary

Pick you up from your hotel early in the morning, about 6:00-7:00am. Then we will drive you to Jinshanling Great Wall. Jinshanling Great Wall is far away from Beijing downtown, we need drive about 2.5 hours to get there, only a few tourists comparing to crowed Mutianyu great wall. Jinshanling Great Wall connects Simatai Great Wall in the east and Gubeikou Great Wall in the west. It was the important doorway in the northeast defense line of the Ming Dynasty.

Hiking on the Jinshanling Great Wall for around 4 hours (please check following suggested routes). Jingshanling has Main Gate(cable car available here), East Gate, West Gate.
If you want hike from east to west, you can start from East Gate, walk towards west to Main Gateand finish at Main Gate, our driver or tour guide will follow your plan, driver will park and wait in the gate you want.
If you want to take cable car up on the wall and don't want to hike for long distance, then you can start from Main Gate and finish at Main Gate.
Entrance tickets can be bought on site easily at any gate ticket office, no need to book in advance (only a few tourists in Jinshanling):
Entrance ticket: 65CNY ,cable car round trip 56CNY, single trip 36CNY, eco car 10CNY.

Jinshanling Great Wall Map and Hiking Routes

• 2.5 hours photographer route: Middle gate - walker path - Brick Crenel - Great Wall walk - Xiaojinshan Tower - cable car back to Middle gate.
• 4 hours 3 must sees route:  Middle gate - walker path - Brick Crenel - Great Wall walk - East Five windows Tower - walker path - East Gate.
• 4 hours fitness hiking route: West gate - Fitness hiking trail - Taochunkou - great wall walk - Brick Crenel - walker path - Middle Gate.
• 5-6 hours Gubeikou to Jinshanling route: start from Gubeikou great wall, long distance trail, need tour guide's guidance, extra cost for this route.

After the tour, we will drive back to your hotel. (local resturants are also available in Jinshanling)
