Tour Overview

Duration: 4 Days (Starts from 8:00 am, finishes around 5:00-6:00 pm). 
Tour Type: Private tour.

Attractions: The Great Wall, Dingling Tomb, Olympic Stadiums passby, The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Niujie Street and Niujie Mosque, evening show.

Itinerary

Day 1
We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Beijing. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 2
We will pick you up at your hotel in Beijing in the morning. You will visit the Great Wall. You can choose either Badaling Great Wall or Mutianyu Great Wall. After lunch, you will visit Dingling Tomb, which the the only tomb among 13 Ming Tombs that has been excavated. On the way back to downtown Beijing, you will have a short exterior visit to the Olympic Stadiums - "Bird's Nest" and  "Water Cube". In the evening (7:15~8:30PM), after dinner, enjoy the Peking Opera Show(or Chinese Acrobat, or Chinese Kongfu show, choose one show from these three options, depending on your interest)   After that, we will take you back to the hotel.

☆ The Great Wall has become a national icon of China. Whoever come to China would visit it. It is one of the greatest man-made wonders over the world. It was built as an ancient military defense project which was actually worked in the history. Badaling section and Mutianyu section are the best preserved sections of the Great Wall.

☆ Dingling Tomb is the only tomb of the thirteen Ming Tombs to be excavated. Buried here are three individuals; Emperor Wan-li (died 1620), Empress Wang (died 1620), and another Empress Wang (died 1611).

Day 3
We will pick you up at your hotel in Beijing in the morning. You will visit the Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square. After lunch, you will visit Summer Palace, Niujie Street and Niujie Mosque. After that, we will take you back to the hotel.

☆ The Forbidden City was built 600 years ago and has played an important role in Chinese history. It was the imperial palace of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty from Emperor Yongle. This palace is an example of ancient Chinese architecture.

☆ Tian’anmen Square is one of the largest city squares in the world. Its name literally means “Gate of Heavenly Peace”. The square witnessed the foundation of the People’s Republic of China and several important events in Chinese history.

☆ Summer Palace is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. The mountains, waters and architecture together form picturesque scenes that are amazingly beautiful. UNESCO declared the Summer Palace “a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design". 

Day 4
We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning. You will visit the Temple of Heaven. After lunch, we will drive you to the Beijing Capital International Airport. See off and that's the end of the tour.

☆ Temple of Heaven is a complex of religious buildings where the emperors came every winter solstice to worship heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest. Built about 600 years ago, it is the most holy imperial temple in Beijing.
