Great tour, well spoken and knowledgeable guide and a really really good driver. All in all an excellent day and at a very nice price. Also we had some pretty sweet weather. Two thumbs up...
Excellent value for money and guide provided a high level of service. It was great to get to the Great Wall before the crowds. Whether this was luck or judgement I do not know. However, it made our visit infinitely better than it would have done if we had been 30-40 minutes later as the numbers visiting the wall dramatically increased. We were able to take photos and walk stretches of the wall with minimal impact from other visitors. The experience that we were able to have was so much better than it might otherwise have been. I would have accepted an even earlier start if it meant avoiding the crowds; this should be a selling point for the tour if not already promoted. The side trips to the 'selling' sites (Jade Factory, Tea House and Chinese Medicine) were interesting and entertaining. I also noted that tourists from the Cruise Ships also visited the same 'selling' sites; even though they were on much more expensive tours. One possible disappointment was that I found out subsequently we could possibly have seen at the Ming tombs but did not. However, I cannot be certain of this...

the was good. we have seen the tomb and Great wall as promised. The tour guide had lot of stories, so it was interesting, though he had very strong Chinese accent, so I could only understand half of the instructions..
Generally speaking the tour is good value for money. However, the time we spent at Great Wall was short. We certainly preferred spending at least one more hour at Great Wall than visiting the traditional tea shop. Also when we considered selecting other options that the ones the guide suggested the guide was particularly insisting if not pressing, on opting for what she suggested...
It was an OK trip. The bus was a small one and a little uncomfortable. The guida was in the front seat and a litte difficult to hear because of the noise of the engine. And we had to stop a few places where they want to sell us things. We were not aware of that. The dinner we got was realle good. And the stop at the tombs and the wall was also very good. We also had to leave the hotel before brekfast in the morning when we should go to the wall. I would prefer tp gp a little later in the morning. But all in all a good trip. We saw what we wanted to see and the food was exellent. And a friendly guide...
It was a long day but well worth it! Packed with cultural and interesting things to see and do. I recommend this tour to anyone who is truly interested in Chinese history and wants an organised day with great memories...
Great tour of the Wall and the lunch was delicious. Enjoyed the jade factory and tea tasting as well. Prompt pickup at your hotel and comfortable transportation. Ming tomb portion of tour was average but the rest was great. Highly recommend, great value!..

Ireally enjoyed, it was very nice. I think they have to give more time to be in at the great wall because there are a lot of people and you can climb or look around...
Tour Guide's English was moderate. Food was ok. At the Great Wall , we could have taken a Cable car that would get us to the highest point , however the tour guide didn't give us this option , we took a cable car that was taking us to an average hight thus it was very difficult to hike all the steps to the top. However the experience of the sights was great...
All good except they have a cheeky hidden agenda where they need you to visit the Jade shop during lunch time for at least 40 mins...
The tour guide, Justin, was great. He had a fantastic sense of humor and had a laughing within a few minutes. He was on time to pick us up from our hotel. The lunch at the Jade Exhibition was sensational. It was very tasty and there was plenty of food for the ten or so people who were on the tour. Justin was very good with instructions and timings and the tea factory/shop/exhibition was also very good. My only small disappointment was at the Ming Tombs. The tomb itself was good, but I had expected that we would also visit the Sacred Way. I had been to the Ming Tombs before and I was very interested in visiting the Sacred Way again. But, in defence of ChinaTour.net, this wasn't mentioned as an inclusion in the tour anyway. I think I just made the assumption. Anyway, overall a great day and very good value for money...
