This is an absolutely fantastic tour, especially for the value for money. The tour guide (Kathy) was very knowledgable and gave us great suggestions to make the tour even better. The lunch was superb as was the tea ceremony at the end. I would highly recommend it!..

My son and I booked tours for the 11th November 2013 to the Great Wall at Badaling, the Ming Tombs and on the 12-11-2013 for me to the Forbidden City, The Temple of Heaven and The Summer Palace. On the 11th, the guide was punctual and seemed very knowledgeable and he advised that the cable cars to the Great Wall were not working so we would spend less time at the Great Wall. The weather was very good and we saw the two sights. The next day the guide arrived late at the hotel and during the day while other tourists were speaking about places in Beijing they visited, they described their fun trip in the cable car ride at the Great Wall and the tour guide informed me that the cable cars were never out of service...

I book this tour not so sure for the price too low. It is on the contrary very very good and you will have a great wiew of the wall in 2 sites, a good lunch (included in the 160 yuan) a good guide in English. Only a visit to the Ming Tombs is a little poor, you will see them only outdoor. The 8-seater minibus with air conditioning will ensure your treatment as if you had booked a tour individually. For the price paid for the tour is free. Congratulations to the organizers (see I am italian)..

We looked forward to visiting the Great Wall of China, we booked the Trip and payed on the coach, our Guide was David great English, 9 of us on the Tour and he had time for every one of us. Great Guide. Now the not so good bits, we were not told an extra 80 Yuan each would have to be paid for the Gondola ride up the mountain(Cable Car), if you did not do this then you will need walk up the wall, as simple as that, then when we arrived we had two hours to explore the Great Wall, 30 min to wait before we got into the Gondola to go to the top of the Mountain, then we seen the people waiting to return down the mountain, so we had 1 hour on the wall, the views were fantastic, the rest of the day was also good food was great all in all was a Budget tour so we got what we paid for. we had seen what we came to see, and we did go on another tour with this company and were satisfied. ( Forbidden City tour)..

Wonderful day. Thank you so much. The tour guide "Will" was fantastic. This tour is well worth the money, so anyone thinking of booking this tour on line - do it. It is such good value and is the same tour as some of the more expensive options. I was picked up in a lovely air conditioned car and there were only two other people in the group this day. I will certainly be booking further tours when I return to China...

I was very satisfied with the tour! To be honest I am still wondering why this great tour package comes with a cheap price. Jenny, our tour guide spoke fluent English. Thanks Chinatour.net! Will definitely recommend your tour packages to all my friend...

My friends and I had a great time!! This tour is realy amazing! Everything is very well organized and planned for the customers. The tour operator has done her work perfectly: a lot of information, legends and historical facts. Thank you very much. I will definately go for other tours with you, guys, during my next stay in Beijing. Thank you once more :)..

Our guide Emmett, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, spoke good English and was humorous! A great day out to the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Ming Tombs were very interesting. There were two obligatory factory tours - jade factory and Tibetan medical hall. Lunch was okay and at the jade factory. The tour bus was clean and comfortable...

Took a 1 Day Tour : Great Wall and Ming Tombs. Nice tour, but be advised that it also includes visiting a Jade factory and a tea house I had read some of the bad reviews on tripadvisor, and was a little worried how things would go on. In the end i would say that everything was ok. Kathy, my guide, contacted me the day before by SMS and we setup the pickup time. Me and wife joined a small group (6 people total). We first visited the Ming tombs; on the way, and on the site, Kathy told us about the history of the place, and seemed committed at her job. After that we went to the Jade factory; we did small tour on the shop, but no one tried to force us to buy anithing. Lunch was served on the restaurant upstairs; the food was nice, and in plenty of quantity for 6 people. After that we went to visit the Great Wall. Here was the part that i disliked. On the way, Kathy, told us that we had two options: access the wall on foot or use the cable car. The other two couples want to use the cable car (not included in the price), so we had to agree with them. In the end i felt it was a good option (the wall is steep!), but i felt that i didn't really had a option. I would advise Chinatour.net to try to allow people to trully make an option, even if it means that there has to be two stops (according to the option there is a diferent entrance, and they are not so close), or make people choose during the booking process and group them together. Our guide went with us to the top, but after that she left us alone. For me this was great, and i was able to enjoy the spot my own way. On our way back to the city with did a small stop in a the tea house (Dr. Tea) and saw a Tea demonstration, where they served several kinds of tea. It was nice. In the end they tried to convince us to buy something, but if you don't want you just say no. Prices seemed a little up...

This was an excellent tour especially for a first time visitor to Beijing. Our guide (Selena) was terrific and had a fun playful approach to the tour. The timing and spacing of sites was also good. I had expected to only see the Great Wall but the Tomb and the silk and jade factories were also very interesting. I had also expected only a minimal lunch, but the one provided was excellent and tasty. Plenty of food and in a beautiful room. All in all a great tour and a great value. My only suggestion would be to have some business cards or brochures made so that they can be distributed to future guests. I work for an airline and would love to be able to direct other employees to your tour but I can only tell them to see your website...

I had a mixed feeling about my tour. The guide \'s English is good and he told us interesting stories about the places we visited. I booked the 1-day tour to Ming Tomb and The Great Wall. We spent only 30 mins at the tomb looking at the exhibition and the main hall. That was it. I asked the guide why were we leaving so early and he said there is nothing else to see in the Ming Tomb. That morning we ended up having lunch at 11:00 a.m. Because we left the tomb so early. The rest of the tour was ok...

We were very satisfied with the tour. If anything, it exceeded my expectations. My guide, Jenny, spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. In addition, she was very friendly, and we saw the Great Wall and Ming Tombs in Beijing. After the tour we went to a very tasteful Chinese lunch. I would recommend this tour to my friends or to anyone going to Beijing...

My friend and I had a one day tour (we joined a small tour group on a bus), Ming Temple and Great wall (Badalin) Justin was our tour guide for the day. Justin was excellent guide, very informative and even had great advice for things to do outside the tour. (Bars, food, etc...) The only complaint I would mention is the food included in the tour. It was very "westernized" style of Chinese food, some people might want to experience a true authentic Chinese lunch, you won't find it here. OVERALL, great tour, very cheap, I highly recommend it...

My colleagues, 5 from Lafayete, Loisianna, 2 Brazilians, and myself and another buddy Paul from Newfoundland, had a wonderful experience yesterday. An experience we will never forget. The weather wasn't great because of fog and rain but we made the most of it. Our tour guide Kathy was great and the driver was as just as important for delivering us to and from our destinations. Did the Ming Tomb, the Great Wall, experienced a Jade factory, Pearl Factory and Silk Factory. Booking tours online you do not know what to expect, but rave reviews from all involved. Excellent. Would suggest this to anyone who would like to experience what we did today. No issues. Very organized. Thank You so much. Glenn..

Tour guide was Amid and he was outstanding. He provided us with all the history, details and stories possible and really made the tour very personal. He was very kind in answering many questions and he really knew his stuff. The tour was just perfect and we felt the day and schedule was just perfect. We felt like we got to see much of China/Beijing and were lucky to experience some of the city that we would not have if not with the tour. I would highly recommend this tour and the Forbidden City tour!..

I liked the tour. My only complaint was that they didn't pick us up from our hostel. They made us walk to the bus for probably 500m or more. The food was great, and jenny our tour guide was very nice and informative. She taught me how to go to the Olympic site by myself since it was not included in my tour package. I like that it was not a very big group, too...

We booked three tours via the internet in Sep 2012 and we had immediate response. When we reached Beijing, the evening before, our tour guide, Jenny contacted us with the arrangements. The next morning she was on time to pick us up at our hotel. Jenny was professional. We had a very good time. The tours were value for money...

Dear Sir, Madam, Having being to Beijing and already visited the great wall, I consider that the interest was the explanation of the guide concerning the ming tombs and various historical/cultural aspects of past/present chinese culture. The guide did a great job about explanations...

The booking was easy and the guide called me a night before the date of tour and arranged the pick up. In the morning the guide was good, he could explain things in English with zeal and interest. We visited the tomb first and then a jade shop to see the manufacturing process, and had a good lunch there. We went to the crowed great wall, there was a very very very long queue for more than an hour!!! to get into the cable car. At 3 PM we got into the cable car and the great wall. The great wall is fantastic and we got many photos. On the return side, similarly, very very very long queue. The tour is good and reasonable in price, if you do not want to passby the two shops, you should book a private tour with higher price...

My family and I did a one day Great Wall and Ming Tomb tour for $25pp. This is one of the cheapest tours you will find for this price, and I felt I got my money\'s worth. They pick you up at your hotel, provide an English speaking tour guide and the cost includes a really good lunch and ticket admission prices. So it\'s a pretty good deal. The tour bus was a little late picking us up, but the guide called to let me know. The bus was clean and the guide spoke good English and was knowledgeable. Here are the negatives: 1. I would have preferred more time at the Ming tombs or Great wall. 2. The guide asked our group if we wanted to see the great wall by Cable car or by walking on foot. She said the cable car had a small ticket fee which was not included, but we would have a better view so they group elected for the cable car. Well, the cable car fee is $13. I actually would have preferred to go see the wall by foot because I would have liked to stretch my legs more after the hour long bus ride, but the group wanted the cable car. The cable car also jipped us because the guide could not come up on the cable car so now it was a self guided tour on the top of the wall. The weather and smog in Beijing hinders most views anyway so the cable car was a waste of money in my opinion. Overall, I would do this tour again, I would have paid more for a tour without the shop visits...
