Our tour guy is not well trained in his job. Lack of basic knowledge about ming tombs and great wall. Because when I asked question about the discovery of ming toms politely, he raised his voice and screamed at me. I was totally in shock of his reaction. I certainly do not expect him to know everything, but I do expect him to be more civilized with people...
We booked two tours one was for Graet wall & Ming Tomb and other was for Hutong, Panda Zoo and Lama Temple on www.chinatour.net. Our guide named HAHA called us one day before and picked us at accurate time on next day for Tour. Driver and Guide was very good we enjoyed with them lot. But on the other side this tour seems little expensive and was a wastage of time when driver stops the car at some factory and Tea store we were not interested in all that. Regarding second day Tour no one call us and we tried many times to call on the number given to us one night before and early morning on the day of Tour. After long waiting we hired a taxi and visit Panda Zoo, Summer Palace, Olympic Stadium and other attractions, It cost us must cheaper almost half the price on which we booked only Hutong, Panda Zoo, Lama Temple and Olympic stadium with Chian Tour. I replied the email to know about my second tour and I received a simple email in evening that If we are still interested they can send us guide otherwise they can cancel free of Charge which is amazing. Either they feel guilty they are cancelling free after 6 hours of pickup. On the whole I understand that the services of this tour operating company are not like as it was 5 to 7 years ago...
Too expensive and guide is not adding any value by providing only short explanations. At the sightseeing itself he was not able to provide a lot of information. I don't recommend anyone to do this. This is an overpriced tour (Western prices, but then in China). And the Jade factory visit, you can't even call a factory. It's only a shop. Never again...
very good service, nice and knowledgeable guide. -Great wall and ming tombs all good! -Jade tour very disappointing. The "tour" was 3 minutes and then it's basically harrassment by sellers. Lunch there was also very disappointing. food was sort of local but really not good. -Tea ceremony was nice and shopping afterwards not as annoying as at jade place. All in all an ok tour...
Very nice tour. YoYo is an excellent guide. I would prefer to make the visit at the Jade factory much shorter...

Very bad experience. It was very hard to understand the "english speaking" guide. But the worst part, this is not a private Tour. We were kidnapped in a jade shop for more than 1 hour. If we hadn't accepted we should have pay additional 120 USD for avoiding the jade shop vist. TERRIBLE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. It would have been better and cheaper idea yo take a taxi for the hole day...
What a wonderful tour, the guide knows so well the Beijing history and the atractions we visited. We loved the tea ceremony and the Great Wall, we think that was highest moments during the journey. We feel so ashamed because we didn’t found the best moment to give some tips for the guide boy for his job. I recommend when you have a occidental tourists don’t be affraid to ask su for the tip. Hi there loved our Tour to Ming Tombs and the Great Wall Disappointed by excessive price of 140 RMB for each person for a short ride up and back to Wall in Sky Train. This is much more expensive than comparable places I have been to around the world that use similar transport...
They don’t pick you up if your hotel if is not in the center. They supposed to pick us at 7:00 in hotel Beijing they arrived 30min later. Tour is all about marketing. First stop is the tumbs, was fine. Second stop is obligatory in Jade palace, same place we had lunch. After that we visited the Great Wall the entrance of this tour is “Badaling” where there’s just one way (cable car) Not including in the tour, price is ¥240 for 2 people. And if you don’t want to take the cable car there’s optional to walk 40min to get in wall they won’t wait you as we have limitation time in the Great Wall (2hours) if you miss the time you have to go back by public bus to city. They also won’t reimburse you money, as I have visited the Great Wall before but my parents haven’t I didn’t enter, they also don’t reimburse my ticket (was included in my purchase). I don’t recommend this tour better choose others they start from ¥180..
The 1 Day tour revealed to be a great experience. We were picked up on time from our hotel, and visited Ming Tombs and Great Wall. There were two additional stops: The tea ceremony (very nice) and the factory of gems. Lunch was a great experience too. It would be better to schedule extra time at great wall and a brief introduction to the great wall before leaving us there. Time was limited...
one big issue.... Bejing city map show coverage on blue area for picking hotels... a soon as I payed told me that my hotel was out of the four ring... nothing to do with the map... later on by wichat I had instructions to go to a metro station... to make it worst... until I request to be pick up in other hotel.. finally that it was we did... if I can erase the picking up... I would give you 5 stars!!..
I was not picked up from the hotel as was promised during booking this trip. We left almost 1 hour too late from start location, 08:00 pm iso 07:20. Tickets should be bought in advance to avoid unnecessary waits. Shopping in the tour is bad. Lunch was perfect and guide was very nice..
The great wall trip was fantastic. However, I paid in advance for a cable car trip and also for the Golden Mask Show. Neither of these events were available on the day and I have not heard when I might expect my refund. The trip was two weeks ago...
Not in the order they described so we ended up having totally bad visability on the wall. They should take care of the weather forcast. Instead we had lunch before 11. Fanicular is like optional, but they leave you far from anything else. Driver was nervious and reckles. They only had 2 hotels to pick up people from, we still had to be ready at 6:45. Too early! I doubt they will leave this comment on their page, but hope they'll improve...
We were group of four friends,from USA visiting China . we were picked up by our tour lady and the driver . Her name was Annie , such a beautiful soul with so much knowledge and professionalism. They picked us up exactly at 8:30 as planned. We were extremely pleased with the entire services given all day long . we tour the jade factory, they served us lunch , and visited the Great Wall China. We were very glad to found this great people who were working at tour guide. Very friendly and patient with our constant questions. We gained so much information and love for the China history. Definitely China tour will be our next choice again whenever we come back to visit China. We would give 10 Star to Annie our tour guide and 10 Star to China tour fir their great services. We were a bit disappointed with our tour. Our guide did not come up to our expectations - we felt he had little consideration for the fact that we are an older couple and he seemed to be in a hurry to get through the sites very quickly. His knowledge of Chinese history did not appear very broad.. We finished early as we weren't confident that the day would improve. Our driver, on the other hand, was extremely good...
Overall nice experience, but our tour guide didn’t speak English well, so it was very hard to understand him. He was also very chaotic...
