Beijing Happy Valley is an amusement theme park which compare favourably with Disneyland. The park is one of the four theme parks in the brand chain; the other three are located in the city of Chengdu, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
Beijing Happy Valley is composed of six theme parks, including Firth Forest at the entrance to the park. It also acts as a dividing portal for visitors to enter Atlantis, Ant Kingdom or Aegean Sea areas.
Atlantis is the focal point of the park with its towering Crystal city acting as the center portal much like Sleeping Beauty castle is to Disneyland. Its theme revolves around the discovery of the legendary lost city of Atlantis. Other themes include:
Aegean Sea uses Greek culture, its history and mythology as its featuring theme.
Lost Maya uses the lost civilization of the Maya empire as its backdrop theme.
Shangri-La uses Tibetan and South Western China as its backdrop theme.
Ant Kingdom uses fictional cartoon Ant characters as its backdrop theme.
